Queenstown Alpine Ski Team ( Public )

The Queenstown Alpine Ski Team (QAST) is an autonomous incorporated sporting body administered by a voluntary board. It provides race training and freestyle programmes for skiers aged seven years to senior level and snowboarders aged twelve and older.

Skiing & boarding Excellence is the mission statement and this is strived for in all areas - training, coaching, management, administration, and competition.

QAST Objectives are to:

• Maintain a quality coaching programme for athletes, 
• Provide an environment of friendship and fun,
• Provide a level of skiing which gives each individual maximum enjoyment from the sport,
• Initiate overseas training programmes,
• Build and consolidate the entry level programme,
• Produce elite athletes to National Team level.
