FIS - ANGUS ROSE

 Angus is a former QAST athlete & NZ ski team member. Angus represented NZ at two World Alpine Ski Championships,competing in the super combined, GS & SL. 3  24 hours of Aspen & 1  50k of Coronet. He is a fully certified ski/coach in NZ. Angus has been coaching for QAST for 8 years & is also the NZ Skier X  coach & Olympic coach.

K2 - GRANT STOCKMAN - Queenstown, New Zealand.  Grant’s first year with QAST and he will be coaching the K2’s & academy kids.  Grant has his NZ Ski Instructors & Race Coaches full certification from NZSIA.  Grant has represented NZ in World Cup Parallel Slalom skiing from 1998 to 2002 and was a member of the NZ demonstration Team for Alpine Skiing from 2004-2006 on top of his 1st placing at 2001 Swiss Championships and also his 2001 2nd World Championships placing at Whistler, Canada.  Grant has coached extensively at Cardrona, Mt Ruapehu and Davos Snow Sport School, Switzerland.

Grant has a passion for gaining improvement from the children he is coaching, that being skiing or Golf which Grant is also fully qualified NZPGA Professional Golfer.

Relieving Coach - GORAN GUMZE
Goran is from Slovenia and competed in his first Compag 50K race at Coronet Peak in 1999.  He has acheived his ski instructors certificate from the Ski Instructors Association in Slovenia in 1997 and is currently studying towards a PhD.

FREESKI

HENRY BALDWIN (UK) CSIA level 2 Instructor & PSIA level 2 Freestyle certified.Spent the last 2 years with the Vail Development Team. Coaching athletes between the ages of 8yrs to 16yrs with varying abliities right through to advanced freestyle sessions. Has also been involved with running competitions in freestyle disciplines including moguls, half pipe, slopestyle and rail jams.
